Position Title: CNC Programmer
Wage: $21.00 - $26.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lathes & Mills Machine Operator to join our growing team in Racine, WI on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming multi-axis CNC machines-specifically 5-axis mills and lathes. This role requires a strong background in setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC equipment in a high-precision, low-tolerance environment. Apply now! CNC Programmer Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications - Program CNC equipment using G-code or CAM software (Mastercam or similar preferred) - Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools - Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy - Troubleshoot issues during machining and make adjustments as needed - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards - Collaborate with engineers and quality control staff to continuously improve manufacturing processes Requirements for CNC Programmer: - Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes - Strong programming and setup skills - Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and GD&T - Familiarity with aerospace or defense industry standards is a plus - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills racine@qpsemployment.com IND012 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
