Utz Quality Foods is currently seeking an IO Settlement Supervisor in the Hanover, PA area. The primary responsibilities of this position include providing analytic and strategic direction, developing proactive communications between zones, customers, and senior sales management, and maintaining appropriate talent levels to ensure strong sales growth and loyalty to the Utz Brand of products. Responsibilities:
- Subject matter expert for systems utilized in the Settlement process, including the DSD sales and settlement system, the ERP, PowerBI, and other source or topside applications.
- Develop and coach team members with training, planning and prioritizing workload, monitoring results and improving overall settlement processes.
- Communicate effectively cross functionally with settlement team, IT resources and sales management team when changes or settlement issues occur.
- Develop and improve exception reporting that is utilized to identify and highlight settlement irregularities requiring escalation or research.
- Effectively research and resolve settlement irregularities with sales management team.
- Manage Independent Operator (IO) hotline to ensure that IOs receive timely responses from appropriate settlement specialists.
- Field any escalated calls or questions from IOs and sales operations team members to ensure timely resolutions.
- Approve Settlement Specialist timecards.
- Complete other duties as assigned that will impact and support the overall outcome of the company and department objectives.
Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Accounting skills associated with 5+ years of bookkeeping experience; education may substitute for up to one year of experience.
- Business mathematics skills normally associated with two years of practical experience or the successful completion of a business mathematics course.
- General understanding of the business operations related to the snack food industry.
- General understanding of accounting principles, statements, and reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
