Position Summary

The Manager of Change Management will play a crucial role in driving successful organizational change initiatives across the enterprise. As a member of the Strategy and Transformation Team you will be responsible for driving and leading complex and high priority change projects and programs. You will work with, and across functions to lead the development and implementation of change management strategies, plans, and activities to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies. The Manager of Change Management will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and stakeholders to drive change initiatives, manage resistance, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. This role will also draw on extensive experience and knowledge in learning and development including conducting training needs assessments, designing and developing training strategies, plans and materials as well as evaluating the impact of training as it relates to change adoption, project, and organizational goals. The role may also be responsible for delivering training content to audiences.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute change management strategies and plans to support the successful implementation of business transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and assess potential risks and impacts of change and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Build training approaches and strategies and create and deliver change management training programs and materials to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to change.
  • Develop and implement training plans to ensure that all changes have been mitigated and all users have the knowledge and skills needed to be successful.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Change Specialist to manage training curriculum, tracking and event planning in iLearn (Nestle's learning management system).
  • Develop and implement communication plans to ensure timely and effective communication of change initiatives to all stakeholders.
  • Design communication key messages and collateral to aid leaders and stakeholders in building understanding of key aspects of the change.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders to build support and alignment for change initiatives.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify potential areas of resistance and develop strategies to address them.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to project teams and leaders on change management best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities through the development of robust success measures and health checks to measure change adoption, utilization and proficiency and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting change readiness and resilience across the organization.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in change management and associated training and communications and proactively apply them to enhance change initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, education, psychology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of proven experience in change management, preferably in a business transformation or organizational change context.
  • Strong knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of curriculum development, how it is impacted by adult learning theories, training methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience in the design, development, and delivery of effective communications plans, leveraging multiple communications channels aimed at ensuring successful change adoption and business transformation.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deliverables, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential barriers to change.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to drive change initiatives to successful completion. Experience in training and facilitating workshops on change management topics including vision and goal setting, change impacts, stakeholder assessment and management, communications planning, and other areas that will drive project change efforts.
  • Experience working with LMS systems for learning and development curriculum planning and deployment.
  • Ability to work with content development software (e.g. Articulate (GOMO), video editing, Movavi, Adobe After Effects, Audition, Premier Pro, etc.)
  • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus.
  • Certification in training development and/or training management a plus.
