CAS is currently seeking a Security Analyst. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Position Summary:

This Information Security Analyst supports both ACS and CAS as an enterprise function. Responsibilities involve executing a robust product security to a defined plan. This role will safeguard enterprise products, recommend security enhancements, and partnering with various stakeholders to track metrics related to fraudulent behavior. The security analyst is familiar with threat hunting, workflow development, and analysis of logs. Additional responsibilities include documentation of processes and findings. The role also involves searching for compromised accounts, analyzing user credential leaks, investigating threat actors, leveraging data feeds to identify suspicious activities, tuning detection rules, conducting forensic analysis, improving authentication mechanisms, and providing intelligence reports on emerging threats.

Job Accountabilities:



  • Execute an effective product security program to protect, harden, and support core enterprise products.
  • Recommend security enhancements and workflow development as needed and build solutions to meet those needs of the Product Security team, CAS Sales, Marketing and Legal Compliance.
  • Collaborate with CAS Legal Compliance and/or other stakeholders to track metrics related to the impact and severity of fraudulent behavior against CAS products.
  • Conduct proactive threat hunting using behavioral analysis, anomaly detection, and threat intelligence.
  • Develop automated workflows, solutions, or scripts using Python, Perl, or other scripting languages.
  • Stay updated on the latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and security technologies.
  • Leverage company data feeds to identify suspicious login patterns, credential stuffing attacks, and bot-driven account compromises.
  • Monitor and analyze credential-stuffing trends and emerging attack vectors against authentication systems.
  • Work with security and product teams to improve authentication mechanisms.
  • Educate internal teams and users on account security best practices.
  • Ability to document technical processes, tool configurations, and automation workflows to ensure accuracy and sustainability of job-related processes.
  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Security or equivalent is required.
  • 0-1+ years of relevant experience is required.
  • Cyber Security Certifications are preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in an IT role with a working knowledge of industry standard security domains preferred
  • Ability to learn security tools and automation platforms
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in analysis
  • Ability to implement security best practices
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated experience to solve technical and process problems
  • Ability to achieve results
  • Demonstrated reliability and follow-through on commitments and assignments
  • Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy in all interactions
