Sales Manager Your tasks
Position Summary: Lead and manage the business development and "hunter"-style sales team to drive company revenue growth. Ensure effective sales operations, strategic planning, and strong customer engagement within the Industrial, Consumer, and Transportation business units. Oversee sales pipelines, develop market strategies, and maintain high performance in all aspects of the sales process. This is a hybrid role based in one of our North America office locations: - San Diego, CA - New Brighton, MN - Plymouth, MI - Auburn Hills, MI - Alpharetta, GA - Gormley, ON - Newmarket, ON Responsibilities: Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop strategic sales plans in alignment with business goals. Develop inroads personally, and through the managed BD/Sales team, into new markets and customers. Foster key client relationships and support customer retention efforts. Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of the sales team. Manage and forecast pipeline through CRM and sales tools. Use performance metrics to identify trends and optimize sales activities. Collaborate across departments to align strategies and execution. The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $130,000-$190,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target, subject to eligibility and other requirements. Your qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education preferred. Proven Sales Leadership experience, minimum 5-8 years Demonstrated experience leading market-creating/hunter-style positions and teams Experience in testing services, minimum 8-10 years Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of market research, sales strategies, and negotiation Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience, knowledge, talent, and desire to identify/create a market and hunt new sales. Comfort level with selling broad capabilities into top-level management. Ability to manage a driven, hunter-style team and work in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office tools. Analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Customer-focused with strong relationship-building ability.
