Hourly Pay Range:

$38.67 - $59.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

A Brief Overview:

  • As a Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients. You will bring your advanced skills and expertise to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, assess patient progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

What you will do:

  • Performing thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their physical condition, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.

  • Utilizing advanced assessment techniques to inform treatment planning.

  • Developing and executing complex and individualized treatment plans that may include specialized techniques, modalities, and advanced therapeutic exercises.

  • Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans to meet evolving patient needs and goals.

  • Providing comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.

  • Ensuring patients actively engage in their rehabilitation process.

  • Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.

  • Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the Rehabilitation Services department.

  • Staying current with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy.

What you will need:

  • Graduate from a school of Physical Therapy with a Bachelor of Science or Masters Degree from an accredited college or university approved by the APTA and the Council on Medical Education of the AMA.

  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of IL; CPR certification.

  • No clinical experience required; entry level position.

  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with physicians, other health professionals, patients, family members, and the community. Must demonstrate good organizational and time management skills. Must be able to work effectively in an independent environment.
