The Project Manager will report to the VP, Development and manage a portfolio of projects for our dual brands business. Responsibilities include assisting with bid preparation, contract submittals, traffic control plan preparation and permit applications.

The Project Manager also collaborates with the Project Team to develop schedules, monitor project progress, coordinate subcontractors, and manage other project-related activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and direct activities related to dual brands construction projects
  • Prepare project budgets, bids, agreements, and contracts
  • Track all project costs
  • Develop and update project schedules
  • Analyze and identify issues, developing solutions to meet project requirements
  • Serve as the liaison between the NPS management, operations and field personnel to facilitate project activities.
  • Monitor and control projects to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
  • Monitor project progress, attend project meetings, and prepare and submit status reports.
  • Leverage internal/external remodel resources and vendor management
  • Utilize practical real estate and construction knowledge/experience to expedite construction permitting
  • Interface with the Dine Brands Architecture/Design team to improve remodel and prototypes by providing practical feedback regarding the durability of materials and improvements to design
  • Proactive communication related to construction progress and overall project updates
  • Target base salary $120k-$135k based on experience

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, Finance, Construction Engineering, Architecture or relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of construction management (New build restaurants and remodels) and real estate validation skills or related experience preferably within a franchise system
  • Current knowledge of franchise licensing laws, AHJ regulations, practices and procedures
  • Possesses a high degree of independent drive with a proven track record of achieving results
  • Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills
  • Process oriented, detail oriented, project oriented with good commercial and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Products, including Excel and MS Project
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Ability to travel
