In this pivotal role, you will be the owner of our data products, driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution for solutions that leverage our vast data assets. You will be responsible for building data-driven products that deliver significant value to both our internal business units and our external customers, enabling smarter decisions, deeper insights, and more personalized experiences.

This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker who is deeply passionate about data, has a strong technical foundation, and excels at stakeholder management. You will work cross-functionally with data scientists, engineers, business analysts, and executives to transform complex data into intuitive, scalable, and market-leading products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership:Serve as the product owner for one or more data products, writing detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize the product backlog and manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.

  • Data-Driven Insights:Work closely with data science and analytics teams to identify new opportunities, validate hypotheses, and uncover insights that inform the product roadmap. Translate complex data science models and algorithms into tangible product features.

  • Stakeholder Management:Act as the central point of contact for all data product initiatives. Effectively communicate product vision, progress, and results to a wide range of stakeholders, including engineering, sales, marketing, and senior leadership.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership:Lead cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, UX/UI, business stakeholders) through the product development process. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure alignment on product goals and timelines.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy:Partner with marketing and sales to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new data products and features. Define pricing, positioning, and value propositions.

  • Market & Customer Analysis:Continuously monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and technology advancements in the data and analytics space. Conduct customer interviews and usability studies to deeply understand user needs and pain points.

  • Impact Measurement:Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and business impact of data products. Use data to iterate and improve products post-launch.

Qualifications

  • Experience:5+ years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 3 years focused on data products, B2B SaaS, or platform products.

  • Technical Acumen:Strong understanding of data technologies and concepts, including data pipelines, APIs, machine learning (ML), business intelligence (BI), and data warehousing. You don't need to be an engineer, but you must be able to have technical conversations with engineering teams.

  • Strategic Thinking:Proven ability to define a clear product strategy and translate it into a phased, actionable roadmap.

  • Analytical Skills:Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to use data to make informed decisions and measure product success.

  • Communication:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Execution:A proven track record of successfully shipping high-quality data products from concept to launch. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus.

  • Business Acumen:Understanding of financial services, payments, or related industries is highly desirable.

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics) or a business-related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
