Description The Patient Account Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service to patients with inquiries related to billing. This role plays a critical part in the revenue cycle by assisting patients with questions about charges, payment plans, insurance coverage, and account balances, while ensuring accurate, timely, and professional communication. Additional Skills & Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required * 1-3 years of experience in medical billing or patient customer service; anesthesia or surgical billing experience preferred * Working knowledge of insurance plans, CPT/HCPCS codes, medical terminology, and EOBs * Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills * Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment * Proficient in billing software systems and Microsoft Office applications * 3 + years of healthcare withing ( billing, insurance , follow up, claims, payments) FULLY ONSITE, FIRST SHIFT Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
