Position Summary:

As a Sustainable Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for KPI reporting and analytics, which will help us identify and communicate recycling trends. You will provide timely and accurate performance scorecard information, collect data, and track CO2 reduction rates, along with other key performance indicators to ensure compliance with our sustainability goals. Additionally, you will support our sustainability programs by managing projects related to circularity investments, collaborating with external teams as needed, and staying informed about industry developments and their impact on our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Sustainability Analytics & Data Collection:

  • Support full analytics package of recycling rates, recycling capacities and other related KPIs by different recycling solutions: boutique, trade, business to business (B2B) collection, and break down details for the use in DF calculations
    • Set up and maintain weekly / monthly recycling KPIs and elevates anomalies to manager
    • Sets up and Maintains dashboards / KPI Packages for various key stakeholders in Sustainability.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders leading projects to report and calculate impact of the initiative on the KPIs
  • Assist with gathering data from internal and external stakeholders to build models that support Nespresso's circularity investments.
  • Conduct analyses to understand root causes for recycling improvements or declines by understanding the impact of project initiatives

Reporting & KPI Dashboards:

  • Collaboration with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing co-pilots to support the development of compelling narratives and data that can be leveraged to achieve Nespresso's objectives.
  • Maintains the Recycling and C02 dashboards, KPI Packages for various key stakeholders in Sustainbility. Provides insights and recommendations for actions plans for improvements and optimizations
  • Ensures all recycling and C02 KPIS are tracked and aligned within Operations and Full sustainability team
  • Issue monthly KPI Packages to HQ, Internal MOR / Quarterly reporting.
  • Supports/analyses/ data to be used in decision making - runs data, prepares spreadsheets, makes assessments
  • Supports the development of all presentation materials, data analytics, tables, charts for OP presenations, Business Reviews, WOR and MOR, MBS set.
  • Acts as the SAP / HANA / Power BI power user for the Sustainability team
  • Liase with the BI team for all in-depth reporting needs

Audit & Ad Hoc Projects:

  • Periodic compilation of carbon data and reporting, which includes finding trends and modeling carbon impact of implemented changes.
  • Collaborate with x-functional teams on organization wide sustainability initiatives
  • Tracking & Reconciliation/PO Management/Budget Forecasting:
  • Tracking and support reconciliation of overall recycling monthly expenses, support preparation of monthly accruals with Finance and operational co-pilots, elevation of any gaps to manager for monthly review of the recycling solutions.
  • Monthly reconciliation of recycling solutions purchase orders, organize and review all PO creations and ensure / track active status including all vendors such as MRF's, recycling materials and other third parties, partners, etc.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; OR equivalent work experience
  • 1+ year experience in a corporate recycling, sustainability, and/or waste management analytics role; OR 3+ years in an equivelent corporate business data analytics role in another discipline.
  • Advanced Proficiency of Power BI
  • Knowledge of database analysis and structure
  • Problem-solving & motivated self-starter mindset.
  • Analytical, rigourous and proactive.
  • Pragmatic and results oriented
  • Detail oriented & able to incorporate critical & logical thinking.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly & user-friendly language.
  • Organizational & time management skills (multi-task oriented).
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to be flexible & adaptable to changing priorities. Effectively manage continually changing priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexible, able to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

The approximate pay range for this position is $75,000.00 to $95,000.00.Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
