How you'll make an impact:

The Manager, Sales Research Analytics will support the SiriusXM Media revenue org by providing data and analytics related to advertising sales opportunities.

This position is responsible for conceptualizing and generating large scale projects and initiatives for the revenue org to leverage both pre-and-post sale. This role is essential in facilitating ad revenue growth by surfacing relevant and actionable insights in a meaningful way.

This is a highly technical role that requires a unique and wide-ranging set of skills. The candidate should be proficient in processing large data sets, distilling them into digestible insights and communicating findings clearly and concisely. This role will require a high level of proficiency in SQL and Python (manipulating data structures and applying logic).

What you'll do:

  • Support our sales organization by providing valuable insights from a myriad of data sources including usage logs, analytics platforms, ad delivery reports and 3rd party research.

  • Field ad hoc requests from RevOrg that require advanced-level proficiency in SQL and Excel.

  • Automate recurring data workflows and orchestrate complex pipelines using Apache Airflow, including scheduling, dependency management, and monitoring.

  • Produce marketing collateral to aid various teams within our ad sales organization.

  • Ensure regular reports are refreshed and delivered under tight deadlines.

  • Assist in conceptualization and maintenance of business intelligence tools.

  • Generate innovative, actionable ideas to help facilitate team growth.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in analytics, math, economics, statistics or related quantitative field.

  • 4-5+ years of experience in an analytical role in a digital media environment

  • 4-5+ years of experience with SQL framework and query scripting (Google Cloud Platform, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Hive/Hadoop).

  • Python and Apache Airflow to build and automate scalable data workflows, applying custom logic and data structure manipulation to support complex pipeline orchestration, including scheduling, dependency handling, and operational monitoring.

  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Proven Microsoft PowerPoint skills.

  • Data visualization experience with Tableau.

  • Thorough understanding of digital advertising.

  • Good public speaking and presentation skills.

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.

  • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.

  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.

  • Creative writing ability.

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $97,900 to $140,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
