Hours & Pay

• Shift: Flexible, with availability for training as needed

Daily Responsibilities

• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits
• Follow blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools
• Verify conformance of workpieces with squares, rulers, and measuring tapes
• Tack-weld fitted parts together and check the metal stock to meet specifications
• Align and fit parts using jacks, wedges, hammers, and related tools
• Mark bending and cutting lines, factoring in stock thickness and welding shrinkage
• Secure workpieces with braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolts
• Interpret engineering drawings and determine material and sequence requirements
• Move parts into place manually or with hoists/cranes
• Set up and operate fabrication machines, including shears, flame cutters, grinders, drill presses, and more

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of welding experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow directions
• Basic computer navigation preferred
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a team environment
• Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to quality workmanship
