Position Summary: The Printing Account Manager role focuses heavily on client relationships and in-person contact when needed, ensuring that each job is completed efficiently and according to customer specifications. This position collaborates with the President and Sales Manager to manage existing accounts with established programs. Responsibilities include identifying services needed to remain a full-service supplier and assisting in the development of strategies and action plans. The Account Manager also serves as the primary contact and liaison between the customer and the production team. Work Arrangement: This position is able to work onsite, at our Lansing Headquarters. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm An offer of employment with MSU Federal Credit Union and affiliates is contingent upon the agreed work arrangement (onsite/hybrid/remote) and work location. MSU Federal Credit Union may or may not be able to accommodate temporary or permanent changes to work arrangements or allow employment outside the city and/or state of residency in which the new hire resides at the time of offered employment. Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $40,000 - $51,000, dependent on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides exceptional and timely support to customers and businesses via email, phone and in-person interaction.
- Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Understands client requirements, challenges, and business objectives.
- Identifies and proposes solutions that meet client needs and align with their goals.
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and client satisfaction.
- Provides a needs-based, consultative approach to sales and support.
- Provides regular updates, reports, and feedback to clients and internal teams.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Assists with walk-in sales and customer service as needed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally to graphics and production teams to ensure customer expectations are met in a timely manner.
- Facilitating a deep knowledge and understanding of our products and services.
- Continuously developing skills and industry knowledge to enhance the value of all customer interactions.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Prior experience in a business-to-business professional sales role and or a bachelor's degree in a related filed in lieu of experience.
- Communication Skills - Excellent communication, written and oral. Communicates well with customers, prospects, peers, and colleagues (including leadership) on a regular basis. Ability to convey messages and ideas concisely and effectively with professionalism.

- Planning, Organizing, Time Management, Prioritization - Can plan personal timeline to meet specific task goals. Understands the requirement to be organized and work in an organized fashion. Works efficiently with a pre-defined schedule or set of existing priorities but can also effectively prioritize situations and emergencies.
- Work Style, Ethic and Initiative - Works well independently and in groups. Demonstrates ability to communicate and work accordingly with other departments and external businesses. Able to stay focused and maintain drive throughout a busy and heavy workflow. Self-motivated, and understands what needs to be done without requiring instruction.
- Detail Oriented - Ability to address details specific to individual tasks as well as understanding the big picture associated with given task.
- A background in customer service or strong interpersonal skills are necessary for building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal teams.
- A high degree of computer literacy including familiarity with Microsoft Office. The ability to learn new software proprietary to the print industry and work within our CRM.
- Ability to take accurate specifications and project details to communicate efficiently with project managers and production teams.
- Knowledge of print industry terms and processes.
- The ability to perform basic math.
- A positive & patient attitude and a willingness and ability to learn & adapt.
- Willing to work overtime during peak business times - including occasional weekends.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Comfort performing tedious tasks - able to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
- This position requires onsite presence at the employee's assigned location for all scheduled shifts.
- May be required to remain standing, seated or stooped in a stationary position for an extended period.
- Ability to operate standard office technology, equipment, and tools, which includes frequent use of a computer.
- Frequently needs to move about inside or outside of an office area.
- Exposure to potentially hazardous conditions. Receives detailed instructions and procedures to be followed to minimize the exposure.
- Frequently moves equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds for transport between areas of buildings.
