Senior Software Tester Location: 2 days a week in downtown Lansing, MI (required) Must be local to Michigan and can interview on-site *Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check and a credit check *Please note: Resource will not be able to gamble (online, sports betting, Casino) in the State of Michigan or with companies licensed by the Michigan Gaming Control Board. Agile experience Experience testing in a .NET environment Experience with industry standard automated testing tools and frameworks Experience using Azure DevOps Testing Module Knowledge of performance and load testing tools Experience with ADA Compliance testing tools Job Description: Must have experience with both manual and automation testing. The resource will work in an agile environment to write and execute use cases, test plans and develop testing scripts for custom .NET web applications. About the project: The company has 16 applications that are being supported with sunset technologies. These systems support independent licensing and registration functions. The applications support the licensing, compliance, and security including creation of identification badges for licensed casino employees, management of responsible gaming database (problem gamblers) and management of their licensing approval process. The objective of this project is to modernize the legacy IT applications. This will be achieved by rewriting them using current, supported technologies, thereby mitigating risks associated with end-of-life applications and ensuring ongoing operational support for business functions. Must have 5+ years experience: *Designing and executing manual and automated test cases. *Understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC). *Strong written and verbal communication skills. *Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile development environment. *Understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes (Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, System Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression, Post Deployment Validation, Data Conversion). *Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases. *Issue tracking and defect management. *Generating and documenting test plans and strategies. *Generating testing reports and metrics. *API testing and tools *Writing SQL, P-SQL queries. *Experience with industry standard automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium) *Experience using Azure DevOps Testing Module. *Experience with ADA Compliance testing tools, such as AccVerify, JAWS, etc. *Skills* Automation, Selenium, Test automation, Automated testing, Api, Software testing, Automation testing, Quality assurance, Manual testing, Software Tester, Tester, Testing, Manual *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
