The Government Payor Alliance (GPA) Team is dedicated to maximizing revenue and advancing patient advocacy through strategic public policy monitoring, data-driven analysis, and effective issue resolution. This role will support the Escalation Manager in researching and resolving complex revenue challenges. The position also plays a key role in supporting internal teams by identifying compliance risks, facilitating problem-solving, and coordinating efforts across Revenue Operations (ROPS) and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

  • Collaborate with management to develop, document, and implement action plans to address revenue-related issues.
  • Identify payer trends and root causes of billing or claim exceptions; take steps to resolve or escalate to minimize bad debt.
  • Apply policies related to escalations and take appropriate business actions.
  • Escalate issues as necessary and provide thoughtful recommendations.
  • Support the resolution of issues related to government payor billing and collections.
  • Assist with documentation of reimbursement issues and related data.
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate complex issues.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain positive interactions with partner teams.
  • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training sessions as required.
  • Exhibit consistent, regular, and punctual attendance; overtime may be required to complete critical tasks.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Revenue Operations initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be an RS III or above to apply.
  • 2+ years current internal Revenue cycle experience with a proficient understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Advantage, Managed and DSNP billing and reimbursement.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook for data management and communication.
