Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Homeland Enterprise Information Technology Secure Services and Support (HEITS) for the continued operations, maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). In support of the HEITS management team, the selected individual will be responsible for providing high level VIP A/V and maintenance support to ensure Service Level Agreements are met. Support will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Troubleshooting circuit and data issues.

  • Supporting customer hardware, software, network, and telecommunication systems and execution of network procedures.

  • Providing operational support for VIPs and conducting problem determinations, escalations and providing problem resolution.

Primary Responsibilities

  • VIP user-level maintenance support for multi-media systems

  • Daily inspection and testing of conference rooms

  • Assisting VIP customers with video conferencing systems by providing step-by-step instructions on the use of control interfaces and procedures

  • Scheduling and monitoring video teleconferencing sessions for VIPs

  • Maintaining, setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting video equipment for VIP customers

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow software

  • Communicating to customers and Leidos leadership of any impact to operational continuity

  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of network and device relationships

  • Ability to effectively balance priorities and customer needs during periods of outages or moments of degradation of services

Basic Qualifications

  • BS and 4-8 years of experience, or equivalent professional experience, working with networks and performing A/V administration and troubleshooting

  • Must be familiar with Cisco Meeting Manager, VQ, and Cisco Meeting Server

  • Knowledge in coordinating problem resolution and working across IT functional areas

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/events simultaneously and deliver on time

  • Experience working at a customer site with high profile customers

  • Active TS/SCI government security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • DHS Experience

  • Networking Certification

  • Microsoft Certification

  • Security+

  • CCNA

Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
