Description

Job Summary

Provide guidance and mentorship to Sales Support Team members on a daily basis. Perform basic and advanced SSD tasks while leading the team. Provide support and collaborate with other parts of the business on a daily basis to fulfill our mission statement and complete the sales cycle.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities



  • Communicates with sales force to answer questions pertaining to product and procedures. Provides feedback via telephone or email.
  • Investigates the root cause of breakdowns in procedures; executes corrective actions to resolve problems
  • Assists with the assembly of material according to requests received, as needed.
  • Use of SAP
  • Coordinates and assists with training for new and existing team members.
  • Contributes and assists with process improvement initiatives and staffing changes
  • Assures all areas of SSD are kept in a clean, safe and orderly manner
  • Manages overall priorities for the Sales Support Team.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications Use
  • Use of SAP preferred but not required
  • Use of measurement equipment


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Adhere and support KLS Martin's quality and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to retrieve and interpret documentation.
  • Able to work in a team setting and independently under minimum supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally as well as externally.
