About the Role: Software Engineer - Data Collection (Lehi, UT)

TheAdobe Analyticsplatform processes over20 billion transactions daily, delivering real-time insights to customers around the globe. As a Software Engineer on ourData Collection team, you'll help build the backbone of this platform-developing high-performance, scalable solutions that support some of the largest websites in the world.

What You'll Do

• Architect and build robust backend systems that scale to billions of daily events.

• Optimize and evolve existing services to improve performance, reliability, and usability.

• Collaborate across engineering, product, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Own features end-to-end-from design and development to deployment and monitoring.

• Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to technical specifications.

• Break down complex tasks into manageable milestones and deliver on schedule.

• Stay curious-explore new technologies, propose improvements, and share your knowledge.

What You Bring

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience and a degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Strong object-oriented programming skills (Java preferred; Go also welcome).

• Experience with Linux, Git, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

• Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).

• Background in Big Data, streaming technologies, SaaS environments, or Web Analytics.

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and excited to tackle complex challenges.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Bonus: Experience with edge/service proxies like Envoy.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
