Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Level 2:

Estimated annual base pay: $75,440 (minimum)-$94,300 (midpoint)-$113,160 (maximum)

Level 3:

Estimated annual base pay: $90,400 (minimum)-$113,000 (midpoint)-$135,600 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark?If you're an Operations Engineer II/III, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Woodward is hiring a Operations Engineer II or III at our Niles, IL location. This individual will be responsible for driving process improvements while using their mechanical aptitude and hands on approach to support assembly process engineering.

What you will be doing...

  • Process engineering for mechanical actuator assemblies as well as their mechanical and electrical sub-components.

  • Day to day support in engineering functions in the high volume, commercial and military focused operations value stream.

  • Participating in and leading continuous improvement and process innovation projects and activities to enhance systems and operations for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost

  • Working with cross functional teams to implement robotics, digital factory and automation systems

  • Supporting multiple customers and suppliers daily.

  • Collaborating with engineering, production, supply chain and quality teams on multiple projects, ensuring on time deliverables are met

What we are looking for...

Level II:

Education:

  • US - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)

Experience:

  • Greater than 2 years professional engineering experience or a combination of experience and advanced degree.

License & Certifications:

  • Six Sigma Greenbelt

  • Professional certification

Level III:

Education:

  • US - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)

Experience:

  • Greater than 4 years professional engineering experience or a combination of experience and advanced degree.

License & Certifications:

  • Certificate or degree

  • Six Sigma Greenbelt

  • Professional certification
