Are you passionate about storytelling, digital trends, and connecting with communities? In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping how our bank shows up online and in our neighborhoods. We're looking for a creative, social-media-savvy professional who thrives on building connections and driving engagement.

As part of our marketing team, you'll:

  • Lead social media strategy and content creation across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Manage posting schedules and campaigns that bring our brand to life.
  • Partner on community outreach initiatives that strengthen our local presence.
  • Use analytics and insights to measure impact and continually improve results.

Social Media Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to promote our bank's events and services, share financial and fraud educational information, and engage with our communities.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor bank social media presence across platforms.
  • Create and maintain social media calendars.
  • Develop thought leadership tools that demonstrate the experience of our bank's associates.
  • Develop and schedule social media posts.
  • Research tools and products to boost our bank's social media presence.
  • Monitor community engagement and online review & profiles (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Create (or collaborate on) graphics, video, and copy.
  • Monitor trends and leverage timely content.
  • Engage with our communities (comments, DMs)
  • Analyze metrics and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and other teams.
  • Manage paid social campaigns (if applicable)
  • Promote, attend and cover bank and other community events.

Other Responsibilities:

  • While this position will be focused on social media, they will also assist with other Marketing needs of our bank as assigned.
  • Direct customer satisfaction research and non-customer brand awareness research
  • Work to develop professional skills regularly and as needed, to stay on top of current trends.
  • Complete all annual security and compliance training as required.
  • Always maintain confidentiality of customer information
  • Actively participate in bank and department meetings
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.
  • This position will collaborate with associates from all areas of our bank and qualified candidates will be excited to learn about and share all the amazing things various departments do that make our bank extraordinary.
Requirements
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, to be able to interact with a diverse group of associates.
  • High level of customer service skills.
  • Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field and/or 1-3 years' previous experience in social media, marketing, communications or similar field.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills,
  • Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and work in a challenging environment.
  • Functional understanding of advanced features in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, with the ability and willingness to learn new programs/software.
  • Demonstrated creative abilities.
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English well.
  • Willingness and ability to participate in community functions where the office is involved.
  • Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of social media, including video production is strongly preferred.
  • Strong grasp of platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Content creation: basic design/video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.)
  • Analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics, Sprout Social)
  • Copywriting experience for various social media platforms
  • Scheduling tools (currently Hootsuite)
  • Experience with influencer marketing
  • Familiarity with SEO and email marketing
  • Understanding of brand voice and tone, and willingness to learn bank's brand
  • Video and video editing capabilities.

This is a full time role between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Please note this role is an onsite role based out of our Monona, WI office. Flexibility in scheduling may be needed on occasion.
