Duties and Responsibilities include the following: *Serves as a client relationship representative by listening, researching, and providing complaint/inquiry resolution. * Performs credit due diligence on prospective clients and their mortgage production to validate conformity with Origin requirements. * Analyzes financial and collateral data to determine the general creditworthiness of the client / prospect, as well as the merits of the specific loan request. Reviews loan applications, production reports, investor reports, policies and related data. * Prepares written analysis of the client including company background, management and collateral performance for the loan submission package and rationale for the request. This is done in conjunction with the Credit Department who prepares the financial analysis and spreads. * Assists in drafting loan agreements, term sheets, commitment letters, and closing instructions to counsel. * Performs annual renewals of loans, borrowers and guarantors for credit relationships. Proactively ensures expiring credit facilities are re-underwritten and appropriately re-established. * Monitors loan agreement covenants and borrowing base compliance, and report exceptions. Maintains ongoing monitoring of the financial condition of borrowers. * Maintains an active role in community affairs by participation in community organizations/projects to improve the bank's visibility in the area and offer further opportunity to acquire useful information as well as enhancing business opportunities and the marketing efforts of the bank. A.) from four-year college or university; preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field; minimum of one to three years credit analysis and/or lending experience; working knowledge of federal/state laws related to banking/lending practices; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to use basic office machines. Other Skills Must have a sharp business development focus and demonstrative innovated approaches. Must be a self-starter, someone who demonstrates by getting out in the marketplace. Should be able to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external constituencies. Bank Culture/Customer Service Skills Ability and judgment to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees, customers and supervisor. Ability to serve customers, both internal and external, (community/public) in a manner that will reflect superior customer relations and enhance the overall marketing effort of Origin Bank. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
