Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $15.75 per hour

What You'll Do

• Perform tests on raw materials and tubing products, including:
  
  
  
  • Positive material identification
  • Tensile and hardness testing (micro and macro)
  • Metallographic specimen preparation and examination
  • Ferrite content and corrosion testing
  • Surface roughness evaluation and passivation testing
  • Guided bend and cyclic bending/straightening testing
  
  
  
  
• Process incoming materials for third-party analysis
• Calibrate and verify production tools and equipment for accuracy
• Measure wall thickness and outside diameters, compute CSA, and record test data accurately
• Operate and record results using software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and specialized lab test programs
• Maintain a clean and orderly lab environment while ensuring compliance with company policies
• Support corporate objectives by contributing to continual improvement, quality assurance, and safety standards

What We're Looking For

• 2 years' experience in a laboratory environment
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification in lab procedures a plus)
• Strong computer skills with good penmanship and data entry accuracy
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred
• Proficiency with metallurgical lab testing equipment
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs
• Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and a drive for results
