Logistics/Shipping Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Logistics/Shipping Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the shipment of calibrated equipment to customers and partner labs, ensuring that all logistics and documentation processes are followed accurately. You will also play a key role in maintaining our inventory system, conducting vehicle upkeep, and ensuring the safe storage of important documents.

• Organize and schedule the shipment of calibrated equipment to customers and laboratories, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Inspect and secure proper packaging for calibration equipment to prevent damage during transportation.
• Maintain and update the shipping document retention system, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance to ensure operational readiness for shipping activities.
• Archive old meter cards for easy retrieval and future reference.
• Work closely with senior team members to develop an eye for identifying calibration equipment based on visual inspection.
• Maintain a comprehensive inventory database with up-to-date records of all installed components across various system environments.
• Handle inventory documentation, including labeling and preparing forms (such as DD1149, DD250), in accordance with operational guidelines.

• Must have an associate's degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university.
• Required to lift and move heavy equipment when necessary to support operations.
• A minimum of (3) three years of related work experience.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Must be a US Citizen
