Moog's Corporate Groupis looking for aCompensation Specialist to join our growing Rewards Team!

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting compensation programs and processes that help ensure our pay practices remain competitive, equitable, and compliant. You will be responsible for supporting benchmarking and data analysis, contributing to the development of compensation tools and resources and collaborating closely with HR Partners on compensation matters. Our team is looking for someone curious, detail-oriented, and ready to grow as a trusted advisor on compensation best practices.

You will work a hybrid schedule in East Aurora, NY.

To qualify for the Compensation Specialist, here is what we would expect you to bring to Moog...

  • Typically, a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Over three (3) years of experience in compensation analysis, benchmarking, and program administration.

  • Strong understanding of job evaluation, salary benchmarking methodologies, and compliance practices.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, compensation survey tools, and data reporting platforms.

  • Ability to collaborate and provide advisory support to HR professionals.

  • Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site.

As the Compensation Specialist, your key responsibilities will include...

Annual Compensation Processes:

  • Assist in the development and execution of annual compensation cycles, including pay review materials and training programs.

  • Support the administration of salary increase processes, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with compensation guidelines.

Market Benchmarking & Job Matching:

  • Conduct annual compensation planning and benchmarking surveys.

  • Maintain job matching methodology and select relevant market reference jobs.

  • Prepare market benchmarking reports for HR Partners across the business.

Structure Maintenance & Job Catalog Oversight:

  • Support the regular review and maintenance of salary structures to ensure consistency and market competitiveness.

  • Conduct job catalog audits and implement refinements where necessary.

Data Management & Compliance:

  • Perform compensation audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Support reporting efforts, including general and ad hoc compensation analyses.

Compensation Advisory & Training Support:

  • Provide guidance to HR partners on compensation guidelines and best practices.

  • Assist in developing training materials and educational resources to enhance compensation understanding across the organization.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $70,000.00-$85,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
