About the Hiring Group

The Senior Employee Services Specialist is a senior-level individual contributor within the Employee Services Center team, distinguished by their extensive Human Resources (HR) knowledge and proficiency in handling intricate HR matters. As a subject matter expert (SME), the Senior Specialist is well-versed in resolving complex employee inquiries and assumes a peer lead role in mentoring and supporting junior team members. This role operates with a higher level of autonomy and decision-making, minimizing the need to refer questions to HR SMEs. Additionally, the Senior Specialist plays a vital role in representing employee services on HR projects and initiatives, contributing valuable insights, and providing expert-level support in proactive communications.


What You'll Do

  • Provide essential support on the Employee Services Help Desk, answering or escalating employee emails and phone calls, ensuring continuous support.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for complex and critical employee inquiries, providing expert-level guidance and resolutions.
  • Independently handle HR-related escalations and work towards timely resolutions while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Mentor and support Employee Services Representatives at earlier levels, fostering their professional growth and knowledge enhancement.
  • Collaborate closely with HR professionals and department leaders to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Take ownership of maintaining accurate and confidential employee records within the HR information system.
  • Play a vital role in HR-related reporting, ensuring data accuracy and providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Stay at the forefront of HR policies, regulations, and industry best practices to guide decision-making and compliance efforts.
  • Represent employee services on HR projects and initiatives, providing valuable insights and support to drive successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to proactive communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging to employees regarding HR matters.
  • Handle a substantial volume of complex calls independently, effectively managing inquiries with minimal referrals, and escalating concerns to leadership accordingly.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in relevant area (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be proficient in HR information systems, specifically ADP.
  • Must have experience working with high-volume remote contingent workforce.
  • Proven ability to independently handle complex HR inquiries and provide expert-level guidance.
  • Strong support and mentoring skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States.
