SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing leadership and management on matters related to fiscal, administrative and operational aspects for the assigned department/division. Exercises extensive participation in management planning; continuously demonstrates effort to improve overall operations; administers immediate and long range objectives and plans; establishes partnerships with key business partners. Consults regularly with division management and key partners to ensure operational risk issues are clearly understood, and where deficiencies noted, appropriate remediation plans are developed. Provides oversight and guidance on projects of high importance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

  • Supports the Division Executive in identifying, defining, and framing strategic issues.
  • Represents the views and agenda of the Division Executive in ongoing business processes including budgeting, business performance reviews, and other forums as required.
  • Provides leverage to the Division Executive in day-to-day management by taking ownership for resolving issues on his/her behalf.
  • Works directly with senior department managers on day-to-day issues, special projects and urgent problems to design solutions and implement programs.
  • Develops objectives and processes to enhance coordination and collaboration across the division.
  • Supports key initiatives at the division level.
  • Owns, manages, and executes special projects/initiatives as required.
  • Participates in business continuity planning and disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Acts as a point of contact between division management and employees or other stakeholders.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Manages, facilitates and executes projects identified by the Division Executive.
  • Manages strategic planning efforts for the division.
  • Coordinates strategic initiatives, particularly those that are cross-departmental.
  • Support and coordinate matters related to budget planning and financial controls, i.e., department operating expenses, staffing and capital budget planning; review and monitoring of monthly expenses; reconcilement and auditing of monthly invoices, etc.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity.
  • Responsible for preparing and managing financial analysis projects and statistical studies.
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ Years relevant experience required
  • May consider alternate combination of education and experience required
  • Extensive background in reporting, budgeting and strategic planning required
  • Some statistical and numerical analysis preferred
