Summary:
The Administrative Assistant - Risk will be responsible for data entry, customer service and collecting, tracking and reviewing documentation for Property and Casualty Insurance as support to the Risk Management team. Works as a liaison between the field Insurance Claims Managers and other corporate departments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process and review insurance documentation and ensure all documents are complete.
- Work as a liaison between field and corporate personnel to ensure the proper flow of requests and information
- Coordinate with insurance companies, insurance brokers, and other outside parties
- Create reports and presentations for the field and executives to ensure the regular communication of data
- Assist with claims handling
- Update database/systems to ensure current information readily available
- Assist with processing invoices for insurance related items
- Serve as a back-up for other jobs as necessary
- Gain in-depth understanding of corporate insurance and risk practices.
- File and maintain insurance claims files, ensuring security and confidentiality is maintained
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful outcomes of all processes
- Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values
- Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of administrative support or related experience
- Insurance and/or claims processing knowledge a plus
