KPMG is currently seeking a Deskside Services Advisor I to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality second-level technology support, ServiceNow ticket administration, asset life-cycle management from purchasing through disposal
  • Communicate proactively with customers, from analysis through resolution, to keep them informed of status; provide follow-up upon resolution to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Perform the troubleshooting/break-fix, configuration, distribution and implementation of PC and MAC laptops/desktops; provide intermediate level Desktop operating system troubleshooting
  • Follow operating procedures, configurations, and documentation for hardware and software, adhering to national standards; follow compliance processes related to preservation of chain of custody and tracking of designated hardware or components
  • Apply working knowledge of internal client-specific applications to troubleshoot issues
  • Test and deliver patches, product releases, and other firm-supported upgrades and enhancements; Assist in receiving/processing of deliveries
Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of recent experience providing second-level technology support preferably in a large corporate or enterprise setting
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Experience in providing comprehensive technical assistance and troubleshooting both in-person and remotely
  • Working knowledge with ServiceNow ticketing system is preferred
  • Ability to travel and provide on-call coverage on nights and weekends, as needed
  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, organizational and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to build productive relationships with peers
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
