Shop Worker

Staffmark is hiring a Shop Worker in Dallas, Tx! Do you take pride in working with your hands and creating something truly beautiful? We've partnered with a growing client that specializes in high-end custom wood flooring, stair treads, and architectural wood components. Pay: $15/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Operate woodworking tools such as table saws, planers, jointers, chop saws, and CNC routers
• Cut, sand, stain, and finish wood products with precision
• Read and follow work orders and shop drawings for accuracy
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and maintain a clean, safe workspace
• Perform quality control checks, mix stains, and use UV finishing systems
• Package and prepare finished products for delivery or installation

Qualifications:

• Flooring installation or carpentry experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic mechanical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfortable working in hot conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior woodworking or finishing experience a plus
• Forklift certification or architectural woodwork experience is a bonus
