POSITION SUMMARY:

The Workday HRIS Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing LivaNova's global HR technology stack, with a key focus on Workday. Working in the global HRIS Delivery team, this role provides tier 2 and 3 operational advice and support through efficient and pro-active service delivery to all users. This role is not limited to modules, instead is able to work cross-functionally across all live modules including HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning, Time & Absence, reporting as well as support other HR Technology including Peakon and Phenom tools.

To support our ongoing system transformation and continuous improvement across our digital employee experience, the ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, collaborator and brings their system curiosity to thrive in a dynamic global team.

This role is ideal for someone who has some hands-on Workday implementation or post-implementation experience and is looking to expand their experience across multiple modules and partner globally with Workday users on how to best navigate and leverage functionality.

KEY RESONSIBILITIES:

System Support & Service Delivery

  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 service delivery to all Workday users, troubleshooting issues and timely managing global HRIS ticket operations

  • Actively support service level metrics and ticket insights to ensure service targets are achieved and insights drive process improvements

  • Collaborate with other HRIS Analyst/Specialist to mentor Tier 1 colleagues to ensure accurate advice, support and troubleshooting is provided to Workday users

Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with HRIS & Continuous Improvement teams to maintain Workday modules, identifying roadblocks or opportunities for process improvements

  • Support release planning, testing and implementing new features or enhancements

  • Contribute to the HR Tech Stack roadmap including enhancements or project opportunities

Data Integrity & Compliance

  • Comply with internal SOX control framework to ensure all production changes are documented, peer reviewed and approved before implementation to production

  • Collaborate with colleagues to conduct regular audits to ensure strong data quality, security and compliance with data privacy laws and policies

  • Manage aspects of employee lifecycle data from hire to retire, including onboarding, compensation, performance & talent and offboarding

  • Collaborate with HR CoEs to develop and upload Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) data files

Documentation & User Adoption

  • Document and optimize HRIS functionality and agreed changes made through developing standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Support the Workday Adoption Lead in developing, maintaining and keeping job aids, training materials, videos and help text relevant, up-to-date and engaging in a simple format

  • Identify top frequent flyers via ticket insights to support and coach on how to navigate Workday and encouraging self service

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Workday HRIS role with active involvement in providing user advice or support

  • Good understanding of Workday HCM configuration, business process frameworks and reporting, with other Workday module experience ideal

  • Exposure to HR operations including employee lifecycle, compensation and performance cycles and basic understanding of HR functional and operational acumen

  • Service delivery mindset to communicate, engage and support users with troubleshooting and general user enquiries

  • Proactively problem solve system issues through research, collaboration and support from colleagues

  • Ability to define, interpret and execute test scripts to ensure adequate testing is performed on changes

  • Strong collaborator who is comfortable engaging across all levels within the organization

  • Ability to use analytical skills to maintain data accuracy and integrity within HR systems

  • Excellent communication skills that can translate system-talk into easy and simple terminology

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to translate business needs into system configuration and workflows

  • Exposure to Project Management or Change Management principles

  • Microsoft Suite intermediate skills (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) with MS Access ideal

  • Understanding of enterprise system connectivity to ensure data structure is consistent and aligned to flow correctly to other systems

  • Familiar with SOX controls and other related technical risk and audit controls

  • Some hands-on experience in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Security Administration,

  • Exposure with creating and executing Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) loads

  • Experience working in a global matrix organization

  • Strong time management skills when managing ticket operations with enhancements or projects

Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
