Manufacturing Technician IV, Senior Lead

Job Description:

Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician Senior Lead to join our team. This position will be based in our Decatur, TX facility.

The hourly Sr. Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assigned shift/team ensuring that production goals are met safely and efficiently. This role involves ensuring safety compliance, assigning tasks to operators, managing area tasks, maintaining a positive work environment, and performing quality oversight. The Lead must embody leadership traits, uphold company policies, and escalate issues appropriately.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Assign daily tasks to operators based on production schedules and skill levels.
  • Ensure all operators understand their tasks and have the necessary resources to complete them.
  • Ensure all production expectations are met and complete front end daily report
  • Follow lean protocols and work instructions.
  • Participate in spare parts inventory management.
  • Ensures team adherence to posted break times and communicates deviations.
  • Reference the production schedule on the computer.
  • Communicate any production schedule changes to the team and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
  • Consistently display our PACE values and be a role model for the team, understanding the importance to the organization.
  • Stay informed about company policies, Code of Business Ethics, and support team compliance
  • Support a culture of recognition and reinforce positive behaviors through utilization of the Spotlight program
  • Daily communication at shift change, information pass down.
  • Weekly lead staff meeting.
  • Frequent and open communication with supervisor.
  • Able to provide detailed team or shift updates upon request.
  • Address any conflicts or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Appropriately escalate safety, ethical, or operational issues to the Supervisor
  • Conduct regular safety walks to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
  • Promote the timely turn-in of safety observation cards.
  • Encourage team members to report safety concerns and suggestions.
  • Lead daily safety huddles as needed.
  • Timely reporting of safety related incidents or potential hazards.
  • Utilize stop work authority if unsafe act is observed.
  • Ensure quality practices are being observed and in line with company standards.
  • Follow response flow checklist and adjust accordingly for out of tolerance results.
  • Review all paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure that all products meet company quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the area.
  • Implement and uphold 6S principles to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Maintain accountabilities for all tools within the area.
  • Ensure that tools are properly maintained, stored, and calibrated.

WHAT WE SEEK:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of processes, tools, and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong technology skills, experience with Excel, Word, SAP, and outlook.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Sr. Lead and Lead Differentiation

In the absence of Sr. Lead, the Lead will assume all responsibilities of the Sr. Lead. When both the Sr. Lead and Lead are on shift, the Sr. Lead will direct the work of the Lead. Regardless of who is in charge, all employees are expected to uphold the same standards of values, safety, quality, ethics, and cultural expectations consistently.
