The Producer Recruiter plays a pivotal role in advancing CBIZ's Producer hiring strategy within the Benefits & Insurance division. This role partners closely with divisional leadership, HR, and the national recruiting team to design and execute sourcing strategies, deliver exceptional candidate experiences, and ensure alignment with business needs. Producer recruiting is highly competitive and mission-critical, and this role requires a balance of strategic planning, market research, and direct candidate engagement. The Producer Recruiter collaborates with other recruiting team members including peer Recruiting Managers, the Manager of Recruiting Operations, the Senior Manager of Campus Recruiting, and the Vice President of Recruiting. Together, they share resources, drive continuous improvement, and advance strategic initiatives that position CBIZ competitively for top sales talent.
Essential Duties and Primary Functions
Recruitment & Candidate Development
- Lead and execute full-cycle recruitment for Producer roles across assigned Benefits & Insurance service lines.
- Partner with business and divisional leadership to understand market dynamics, hiring needs, and candidate profiles.
- Proactively source and cultivate passive candidates using innovative strategies including cold outreach, networking, LinkedIn Recruiter, industry groups, and referrals.
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment to Producer success factors.
- Manage job postings across internal and external platforms, ensuring brand consistency and market reach.
- Represent CBIZ at networking events, industry functions, and professional associations to build market presence and strengthen the Producer talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with researchers and recruiting coordinators to maximize efficiency and recruiter impact.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Research target companies, competitors, and industry trends to inform recruiting strategies.
- Continuously refine sourcing approaches based on candidate and business feedback.
- Provide market insights to hiring leaders, supporting workforce planning and talent forecasting.
Reporting & Communication
- Deliver timely updates to business leaders and recruiting leadership on pipeline progress, candidate flow, and hiring outcomes.
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics, using data to adjust strategies and improve results.
- Contribute to workforce planning dashboards and participate in strategic recruiting initiatives led by the Vice President of Recruiting.
Client & Candidate Experience
- Ensure a seamless and positive experience for candidates and hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with divisional Business Unit Presidents, sales leadership, and HR partners.
- Uphold CBIZ's reputation in the market by maintaining a professional and engaging presence on social media and networking platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior recruiting experience sales professionals.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Skilled in developing sourcing strategies and building passive candidate pipelines.
- Strong relationship-building skills with executives and senior leaders.
- Knowledge of Taleo ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other digital recruiting tools.
- Ability to quickly prioritize and manage competing demands in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Demonstrates commitment to exceptional client service and candidate experience.
- Strategic thinker with adaptability to changing business needs.
- Acts with urgency and works autonomously while contributing to team and company goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma or GED with 5 years experience as strong recruiting background required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi -tasking and prioritize.
- Must have attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs.
