Brief Summary of Work for this Position |
This position will be responsible for providing a variety of business and fiscal functions to manage grant operations for undergraduate research training grants. This position will identify funding opportunities as well as coordinate with appropriate faculty and units to execute pre-award processes such as building and budgeting proposals, working closely with
UNCW Sponsored Programs. This position will also support faculty through the post-award process such as hiring, purchasing, sub-award management, tuition awards, and travel. The Research Administrator will report to the Associate Director of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships and will be expected to work closely with the Research Development Office, Pre- and Post- Award Specialists from the Sponsored Programs team, and other research operations groups across campus. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
