In this role you'll make an impact by:

Ensuring accurate storage, shipping, kitting, and receiving of both bulk and palletized raw materials and product according to feed and food quality requirements. You will operate, handle, and store several pieces of heavy machinery and equipment (forklifts of various types, vacuum lift-assists, electric pallet jacks, site vehicles, etc.). Evaluating trucks, trailers, and raw material contents will also be needed while ensuring paperwork is completed correctly. You will check and maintain warehouse equipment, facilities, and documentation to ensure safety, quality, and execution. Anticipating demand and ensuring scheduled product deliveries will be vital to prevent production delays.

• HS diploma or equivalent

• Proficient computer literacy (computers, scanners, printers)

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Previous experience in warehousing and/or forklift use is preferred but not required

• Ability to move freely around the facility including the ability to push, pull, kneel, and squat

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted and pull 20 pounds

• Ability to work in cold and hot conditions

• Ability to climb stairs, stand & walk frequently

• Ability to use PPE such as but not limited to uniform, hard hat, eye protection, hair net, beard net, & respirator

• Ability to become forklift certified

• Monday-Friday dayshift

• $25.05/hr

• 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution
