A day in the life...

As a Sanitation Service employee, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of key areas within our facility, including the breakroom, bathrooms, walkways, lobby, and offices. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere, ensuring that visitors have a positive first impression upon entering our facility. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who takes pride in upholding the highest cleanliness standards and fosters a positive, team-oriented environment.

What you will be doing...

• Housekeep, clean, and 5S in areas assigned.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Deliver trash throughout the facility to compactor room daily.
• Mop and clean floors through the facility.
• Set up and/or clean after department events.
• Stock and clean restrooms throughout the facility.
• Keep janitor's closet / room clean including walls, floors, and mop sinks.
• Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies.
• Restock laundry room with all supplies.
• Read and understand sanitation specifications established by RSC and follow those specifications with supervision.
• Launder items as assigned.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
• Complete and follow FSQA training and programs to comply with regulatory requirements, ensure consumer safety, and support the plant's food safety and quality objectives.
• Promptly report and take appropriate action on any observed or potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities by notifying the designated plant supervisor, in accordance with your role and responsibilities.
• Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the company's Food Safety Culture through engagement and actions aligned with your role.

Do you have what it takes?

(Basic Qualifications)

• 18 years or older.
• Experience in a manufacturing or sanitation environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently, with or without an accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend, and lift overhead.
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for duration of shift.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prideful, positive employee.
• Close attention to detail.
• 2 or more years' experience in a sanitary role.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
