Job Title:Entry-Level Pipe Designer

Location:Metairie, LA

Job Overview:

Responsibilities include developing drawings based on applicable specifications and work order instructions, ensuring that the design product and engineering deliverables conform to engineering design and customer specifications, preparing BOM (Bills of Material), and consulting with vendors on project related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group.

* Coordinate ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.

Experience:

* A minimum of 6 months of experience in designing.

* Bachelor's degree in industrial technology or related field required.

Skills and Abilities:

* Experience ship checking and conducting research on various equipment/components used.

* Familiar with standard maritime requirements for government and commercial projects.
