Ecolab is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our team. The Payroll Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing payroll data to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This role involves maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Role is Fully Remote within the United States or Hybrid if in St. Paul, MN area (3 days in office, 2 days at home)

What You Will Do:

  • Process biweekly or weekly payroll for 20K + employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, hours worked, and pay rates.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll-related inquiries.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Assist with payroll audits and provide necessary documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 1 year of work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Workday HCM and Payroll
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work with technology systems and solutions
  • Proven employee relations and active listening skills
  • Strong organizational, time and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, influence decision-makers and implement solutions

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $64,300.00 - $96,500.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
