Role Name: Supply Specialist Location: Columbia, SC 29223 Work Environment: Onsite Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Contract length: 3 months assignment with possible conversion Job Summary: Duties/About the role: Receives and delivers company supplies throughout corporate buildings. Supports all areas with stored supplies in warehouse. Picks up and delivers interoffice mail, FedEx, and United Parcel Service of America (UPS) packages. Day to Day: 80% Receives and prepares incoming accountable mail for internal distribution. Processes outgoing priority mail for overnight and or second day delivery. Reconciles and processes express mail invoices for payment. Understands and executes delivery schedule. Provides prompt, courteous delivery to customer. Obtains signatures for goods delivered. Processes requests for record service. 10% Processes orders. Receives shipping orders. Pulls inventory. Prepares packages for delivery. 10% Receives deliveries. Verifies accuracy. Prepares inventory receiving reports. Barcode receipts into and out of the inventory system. Places inventory in assigned warehouse location. Job Requirements: Required Education:High School Diploma or equivalent. Required Work Experience: 1 year work experience in a team environment. Required Training: Must have a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record. No major traffic violations in the past three years or no more than one minor moving traffic violation. At least three years of documented driving experience. Preferred Work Experience: 1 year-warehouse experience.
