The School of Information Technology (SoIT) is a national leader in studying solutions and needs that connect people, information, and the technology of the time. The SoIT is home to Ohio's first Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Information Technology. In addition, it is home to Ohio's first ABET accredited Bachelor ofScience in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. The SoIT has been growing at 14% annually and currently serves more than 1400 students with 32 full-timefaculty members, 30 full-time staff, and 39 adjunct faculty. The SoIT is home to several centers including an NSA/DHS Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense, the InformationTechnology Solutions Center, the Ohio Cyber Range Institute, Applied Machine Learning and Intelligence Center, the Civic Technologies Lab, and the Information Technology Analytics Center. The School of Information Technology (SoIT) seeks to hire a leader to join its collaborative team as a Business Administrator. The SoIT Business Administrator is an integrated role that supports the overall operation of the SoIT and its strategic plan. The Business Administrator reports to the Associate Director of Business Affairs and works closely with the School Director. The SoIT Business Administrator is a member of the SoIT Business Affairs Functional Team and leads the Finance/HR functional team with direct supervision of the team. The SoIT Business Administrator is responsible for a wide range of projects/tasks associated with primary business operations, academic, or student services. Responsibilities include day-to-day administration of specialized activities related to a business office and reports to management, provide recommendation and advice to management or other groups on process related topics, and conduct or carry out work procedures and activities in accordance with local, state, federal, and university regulations. This position is 100% on-site but may offer flexibility for a hybrid work option once training is complete. Hybrid work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with the School of Information Technologies telework policy and university policies. Essential Functions
