Lead Health/Beauty Care & General Merchandise Clerk

The primary focus of this position is to assist in the management of the HBC/GM departments in the absence of the Department Manager. The HBC/GM Department Lead assists the Department Manager in the oversight of a clean, neat and well-stocked Health & Beauty Care and General Merchandise departments. Duties include transporting merchandise to sales floor, stocking shelves according to shelf allocation and rotation procedures, and ordering merchandise and controlling inventory. Will build displays, receive merchandise, and control damaged product. The HBC/GM Department Lead provides exceptional guest service by assisting guests in a friendly and courteous manner, operating a cash register, and stocking merchandise. The HBC/GM Department Lead creates a fun and friendly atmosphere, which attracts guests to want to continually shop in our family of stores.
