Training Specialist

Advantage Technical is seeking a Training Specialist in Acton, MA. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape impactful training programs and documentation that support engineers and project managers across the organization. If you have a strong background in technical writing and training, combined with excellent communication and organizational skills, this could be the perfect fit for you.

$50/hr | Hybrid (8 AM - 5 PM)

In this role, you'll focus on developing and maintaining training resources for project managers leveraging Smartsheet, Power BI, and SharePoint. You'll also play a key part in implementing Smartsheet, supporting data migration from legacy systems, and ensuring smooth adoption of new tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training materials for engineers and project managers on new systems.
• Create engaging presentations, videos, and guides tailored for diverse audiences.
• Establish and maintain organized repositories for training resources.
• Lead live and virtual training sessions.
• Support data migration and ensure accurate transfer of project information into Smartsheet.
• Manage and maintain the training SharePoint site as a centralized hub for resources.
• Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to ensure documentation is clear, accessible, and aligned with business needs.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or training.
• Strong organizational, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience with training design and facilitation (virtual and/or in-person).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Flexible problem-solver who adapts quickly to new technologies.
• Experience with project management processes, data migration, or system rollouts preferred.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Miro a plus.
