Supplier Relationship Manager role

Hybrid Role

Contract-six months

Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supplier Relationship Manager to oversee supplier partnerships. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP systems and the ability to manage supplier performance with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a self-starter, and comfortable working across multiple systems and stakeholders. Lead day-to-day transactional activities to support external manufacturing operations (SAP, shipping/logistics, Ariba, onboarding of new materials/suppliers)

Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to company policies and quality standards.



  • Utilize SAP, Ariba, Viva, and Guided Buying tools to manage procurement processes, supplier data, and reporting.



  • Support supplier onboarding, contract management, and compliance tracking.



  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (supply chain, quality, R&D, finance) to align supplier performance with business objectives.



  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier efficiency, cost savings, and process optimization.



  • Monitor supplier KPIs and escalate issues as needed.



  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting requirements.




Qualifications:




  • Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of SAP experience.



  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.



  • Nice-to-Have: Background in supply chain, biology, or chemistry.



  • Tools: Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, Viva, and Guided Buying.



  • Skills:




    • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.



    • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight.



    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.



    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
