A Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Specialist (MLS) is a laboratory medicine specialist who collects patient specimens, accurately completes the required analytical tests according to acceptable techniques, verifies results, and reports the findings to the appropriate healthcare provider. A MLT/MLS must be certain that all reported results are accurate. They must demonstrate empathy and professional concern in all patient contacts. The MLT/MLS ensures consistent regulatory compliance, coordinates the day-to-day operations of the laboratory system, and assists in the leadership of the Westfields Hospital and Clinic Laboratory. Work Schedule: .6 FTE (48 hours a pay period) Days (PMs and Nights as needed), every 5th or 6th weekend rotation (12-hour shifts) and a holiday rotation. Required Qualifications:
