ABOUT THE ROLE

The Material Handler / Shipping and Receiving position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products within the company and maintain the warehouse in a clean and efficient manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accept and document deliveries made to the Stanley facility.
  • Confirm piece count, Material #, Batch/Lot #, and quantity received match's shipper paperwork.
  • Receive raw material PO's in SAP.
  • Load and unload trucks as needed.
  • Unload bulk chemical deliveries, receive bulk delivery in SAP and sanitize equipment.
  • Store items received in appropriate staging and storage areas.
  • Perform inventories as directed.
  • Enter FG material in SAP.
  • Create STO and delivery note for outbound finished goods shipments.
  • PGI delivery notes.
  • Identify and resolve shipping, storage, or receiving discrepancies as they arise.
  • Maintain warehouse and work area is clean and orderly.
  • Clean, sweep and dust warehouse as needed.
  • Actively participate in plant/department/shift meetings.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as Bill of Ladings, C of A, C of C, Delivery Note and Packing Lists.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Good written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Effective problem solving skills.
  • Current Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to use all types of PIV's (Powered Industrial Vehicles)
  • Ability to work independently or as a team.
  • Able to handle any material needs, solve material problems and inventory control issues as they arise.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • This position is not eligible for remote work
  • This position is not eligible for domestic or international relocation
