Responsibilities
Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children's Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women's health and oncology care. Job Description: The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating clinical pharmacy services and ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. The Clinical Manager facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of system. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) Experience: Minimum of three years (3) required in a clinical position. Eight to ten years preferred. Prior experience as a clinical pharmacist. License/Certification: Current license as Pharmacist in the State of Nevada. Other: Thorough knowledge of pharmacy operations. Software skills using MS office, proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel, some knowledge of MS Access. Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic.
