Position Overview

As an FBI Personnel Security Specialist (Entry Level), you will support national security by assisting with personnel security investigations, reviewing documentation, and identifying potential security vulnerabilities. This role includes conducting database checks, analyzing investigative materials, and supporting routine administrative and case processing functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct personnel security investigations, including database checks and credit report analysis
  • Analyze incoming materials and investigative reports to identify potential security vulnerabilities
  • Identify and develop viable investigative leads
  • Perform routine office administrative support functions
  • Support case documentation and file organization activities as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (or Associate's degree with four (4) years of relevant experience)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the personnel security investigative or investigative analyst field, including conducting and interpreting database checks and credit reports
  • Experience performing routine office administrative support functions
  • Demonstrated analytical ability to critically review and analyze various types of incoming material and investigative reports to identify potential security vulnerabilities and viable investigative leads
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required
