Johnson County Mental Health is hiring a licensed Master's Level Clinician to work in their Children and Family Services Program, providing clinical services to children, ages 4-18, with severe emotional disabilities (SED) and their families. This position will have primary responsibility for providing clinical services to youth, ages 10-17, in the Juvenile Justice System. The schedule requires evening availability. This position will remain open until filled. Job Description Responsibilities of the position include: Job Requirements Minimum Job Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other Human Services field and Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure* at the master's level in the area of focus are required. May require a KS/MO driver's license, depending on department or agency. *Applicants who meet Kansas licensure requirements may be considered if Kansas licensure is obtained by time of an employment offer and licensure is pending confirmation at the time of employment application. Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency. Preferred Job Requirements: Kansas Behavioral Sciences license at the clinical level and at least one year experience in the treatment of severely emotionally disturbed children and their families is preferred. Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions: All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation. |
