How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As aCylinder Processor 3 you will perform high-pressure cylinder repairs, hydrostatic test cylinders and repair cryogenic containers.

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.

  • Move cylinders with proper carts only.

  • Ensure all paperwork is signed, dated, completed in full, and legible.

  • Repair high-pressure cylinders.

  • Verify cylinder has no pressure before performing any work.

  • Perform needed repairs using proper tools and personal protective equipment.

  • Retest high-pressure cylinders according to DOT and CGA.

  • Learn, understand, and follow applicable sections in CFR 49.

  • Know and understand CGA designation for appropriate valve to gas.

  • Follow all required CGA pamphlets

  • Follow all required exemptions when testing exempt cylinders

  • Inspect, document, test and mark low pressure cylinders per DOT and CGA.

  • Stamp cylinders appropriately after re-qualifying.

  • Returns all repaired and retest cylinders to the appropriate empty area for refill.

  • Assist in all cylinder inventories.

  • Learn to perform all repairs on all equipment in the cylinder maintenance area.

  • Inventory all Valves and Repair parts to insure an adequate supply.

  • Ability to become forklift certified is required.

  • Ability to perform heavy work - routinely lifts 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs. is required.

  • Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, and feeling is required.

  • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

  • Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets and all other written communications is required.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm

This position is based in Salt Lake City, UT.
