As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Utility Operator (E&I Tech/Utility) you will be responsible for the day-to-day electrical maintenance of the Franklin plant which would include but no limited to industrial process controls, instrumentation installations & calibrations, troubleshooting of processes, equipment repair & installations, general electrical building maintenance, and responsibly for operation and troubleshooting of automated package boiler system.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Electrical aptitude.
  • Minimum 2 years Instrumentation and Electrical experience required.
  • Thorough understanding of equipment selection for applications and equipment operation.
  • Thorough understanding of P&IDs, loop drawings, and electrical drawings.
  • Thorough understanding of troubleshooting, equipment set-up, instrument calibration, and maintenance methods.
  • Thorough familiarity with test equipment and measuring instruments used with instrumentation and electrical equipment.
  • Familiarity with Foxboro distributed control systems (DCS) a big plus.
  • Basic understanding of how equipment works and the fundamentals of preventative and predictive maintenance, and equipment calibration.
  • Experience working with chemical processing equipment preferred.
  • Able to use basic hand tools and maintenance shop equipment such as drills, grinders, benders, and pipe threading machine.
  • Able to work in a team environment with other technicians and maintenance trades, production personnel, management, and engineering.

Education:

  • High School Diploma

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (7am to 3:30pm)
  • Will be on a on-call rotation schedule

The expected compensation range for this position is between $57,000.00 and $95,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
