Description
What you will do: As the Service Technician II, you will provide evaluations, maintenance, and repair services for rental blower and compressor packages at the company rental depot as well as at customer worksites located throughout the United States and occasionally internationally.
Requirements
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Technical Degree preferred. Experience: 3 to 5 years' related experience. Background must include electrical and/or electronic education or experience with wiring, industrial electric motors, variable frequency drives, and/or control panels. Experience must include a minimum of 3 years in a direct customer service role. Travel: Must have the ability to travel more than 50% of the time as needed. Licenses: Valid Drivers License & Current USA Passport Functional Skills: Excellent planning, prioritization, organization, and execution skills; high attention to details; analytical and logical thinker who can problem-solve and implement solutions, excellent with time management. Technology Aptitude/Skills: Computer Intermediate User: Able to create, use, navigate and perform reports at an Intermediate level of proficiency with the following software applications: Nitro PDF, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Other Software Intermediate User: Ability to use and navigate the following software programs: ADP, Concur, Intelex Other Requirements: Intermediate Math Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Travel - Able to board airplanes, cars and trains. Leadership/Behaviors: Strong customer-focus, excellent leadership and change-management skills, with the ability to listen, motivate, and influence others to action; high integrity and compliance mindset.
